1. Lack of Historical Evidence:

  Some scholars questioned the book's historical accuracy, pointing to the lack of mention of the characters and events described in Esther within Persian historical records. 
• Not Found at Qumran:

  The Dead Sea Scrolls, a collection of Jewish texts dating back to the period when the Book of Esther was thought to have been written, did not include the Book of Esther, further fueling skepticism about its authenticity. 

2. Theological Concerns:

• Absence of God's Name:

  The most significant theological issue was the complete absence of God's name in the Book of Esther. This was seen as unusual compared to other books in the Old Testament. 
• Interpretations of Divine Providence:
