Well this was a crazy few days at the Terroir Symposium in Calgary, Alberta, Canada!
I wanted to do a recap episode of the event - going over some of the things I loved and some of the things that were not stellar. I actually have quite a few more thoughts on the symposium which I will put into an article. More ideas of how to make this event better and more well attended by local food industry people.
Things to know from the episode - Terroir Symposium does many events throughout the year, here's their website to find the next event:
Some of my favourite people and businesses from the event:
The Cookbook Co Cooks in Calgary, Canada - great selection of cookbooks, I picked up a few new ones:

My new apron which I'll be showing off in upcoming episodes is from Victor Hugo Kitchen Apparel
The Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland, they do crazy cool stuff and I want to go there and also make soda bread every day:

Hazel Lee Taste with Colour Chocolate Tasting Map - such a fun resource and now I have new ideas for interactive classes!
Selassie Atadika from Midunu Chocolates in Ghana, USA, and Canada - an amazing story of using local African ingredients to tell a story:
It was a jam packed episode I hope you enjoy. And, as always please make sure to Subscribe, Share, Like, and Comment so we can expand our Food Explorer community!
