Description

In Monday’s episode #44, we talked about a few strategies to learn how to reduce burnout by leaving work at work.  It starts with God and it includes time management and a shift in our thinking.  And guess what…   The bible backs this up.

Putting God first is something we are clearly instructed to do.   Therefore, it only makes sense for me to start my day in communion with him.   If morning does not bring out the best version of you to spend time with Him, then put it as a #1 priority item, but schedule it when and where you are able to give him your attention.  Regardless of where you schedule it, treat it as priority #1.

Make no mistake, God intended for us to work and to do good work.  But he also intends for us to rest in Him and to use our time wisely for His purposes.

The more time we spend in God’s word, understanding his will for our lives, the more we grow in wisdom as to what is worth saying “yes” to and what isn’t.

If Jesus is our example for living, and God is the source of all wisdom, doesn’t it make complete sense that He is the first place we need to start when looking at how to lead our most productive and present life?

I hope this episode blesses you!
