Transactional prayer confuses our faith, whereas relational prayer is powerful. In John 17 Jesus prays for us to know we belong and are loved beyond measure. He also prays we become who he created us to be. Finally he prays that many would believe in him because of the witness of our belonging and becoming. So Let’s pray this prayer with Jesus.
