On this episode of the podcast, Hailey Homonoff conducts and co-produces a fantastic interview with me in person. This is Hailey's first time on the podcast and we recorded this one at Caspe Terrace in Waukee.
Almost the entire interview is devoted to discussing the experiences both Hailey and I had during the summers we went on the Ramah Israel Seminar program. I went to Israel on this program during the summer of 1993 and Hailey went to Israel on this same program last summer. We have lots of two way conversation on each other's Israel experiences on Ramah Seminar. Then Hailey asking me to talk about the summers I went back to Camp Ramah in Wisconsin after graduation from high school as a staff member where I worked in their business office for 3-1/2 summers between 1994 and 1997?And we wrapped up the podcast with Hailey asking me to talk about the beginning of Caspe Terrace (the multipurpose community center building for the Des Moines Jewish Community and Jewish Federation) and its history.
