On this episode of the podcast, Tiffany Welch conducts and co-produces a fantastic and really conversational interview with me In Person. This is Tiffany's fourth time on the show and we recorded this episode in a study room at the Urbandale Public Library.
After our introductions, Tiffany asks me the following questions and we bring up a bunch of side topics related to the questions asked:
1. What is your favorite thing about public libraries?
2. What are most proud of what you've accomplished so far during the first couple months of this year. Part of my answer to this question involves me talking about how we're doing with the podcast and I comment on how this is the 150th episode of the whole show where we have our opening/closing music themes with the scripted voiceovers (we didn't have any kind of theme music on the show until the beginning of 2024). Tiffany offers a "Sales Pitch" designed to urge people to join our Juice with Jeff Family of Interviewers and Co-Producers and conduct the interviews with me during the rest of this year.
3. What are other goals besides the podcast you hope to accomplish during the rest of the year?
4. Tiffany asks me to talk about the episodes I watched of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood last night as part of the "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Marathon" I'm in the midst of over the next few weeks.
5. Do you know why you are named Jeff? If you could go back into time, would you change your name to something else or would you have picked Jeff anyway? Are you into family history or genealogy?
6. What fears do you have right now about what is going on in front of you? During this part of the interview, we go very heavily into politics and the numerous problems both of us have on the way the Trump Administration and today's GOP is doing things, along with related topics.
7. What sources do you turn to for your news and information?
8. What is a compliment you've received recently that has touched you?
9. What is your favorite Pokemon?
10. Do you prefer dogs or cats?
11. What is your favorite dinosaur?
Tiffany shares her answers and thoughts on some of the questions. We wrap the interview with Tiffany sharing what is new in her daily life since our last podcast together back in late August.
