Description

On this episode of the podcast, Melanie Wehrmacher conducts/co-produces an excellent and conversational interview with me thru Zoom. This is Melanie's 4th time on the show.

After our introductions and discussing the Blizzard/Winter Storm conditions both of us were dealing with this past Sunday night, Melanie asked me the following questions:

1. What has happened so far during the first quarter of the year that you have been most excited about?

2. If you were going to experience the music, food, art, fashion, and movies of a particular year or time period, what would you choose? Who are some of your favorite musical artists and what are the songs that really grab your heart the most?

3. Do you have a music collection as well and if so what format (CD, Vinyl/records, streaming/computers, mp3) do you like to listen to your music on?

4. Did you ever or do you play any musical instruments?

5. Were you involved with radio or the Drake Broadcasting System when you were at Drake?

6. Talk more about the extensive remodeling that has taken place in the Meredith Hall Basement.

7. What kinds of jobs did you dream of having when you were a kid?

8. If you were to pick a U.S. President that you would most like to have a conversation with alive or dead, who would you choose?

9. Do you believe in ghosts?

10. Do you have any recurring dreams or dreams that pop up for you frequently?

11. Do you visualize?

12. How do you feel about the neighborhood you live in  and how long have you lived there? Is it completely residential or are there businesses in it?

13. What are some of your other favorite restaurants? Do you do any cooking?

14. Pesah/Passover is coming up, what are your plans for that and will you be doing any cooking for it? Do you celebrate Pesah with family and/or friends?

15. How did you deal with keeping the Kosher for Passover food requirements when you were a Drake student?

16. You said you don't worry about what the majority of the Orthodox Jewish world says on religious observance, how do you decide what details you will follow in your religious observance?
