I felt the need to talk about loneliness...

Do you feel lonely sometimes? You’re not alone in that. It's something I've felt periodically in my life in various ways and I know many people do, too. There was an epidemic of loneliness before the pandemic, was worsened during the pandemic, and continues now. Sometimes, the holidays also can bring up feelings of loneliness. You can also feel lonely when you’re in a crowd…

Loneliness affects your health on every level. Per the CDC loneliness can increased risk of dementia by 50%, about 30% increased risk of heart disease as well as stroke, higher rates of depression and anxiety, greater risk of emergency department visits and hospitalizations overall.

In today’s podcast, I’ll go over what to do when you feel lonely.
