In 2015, WWE took Elimination Chamber from its traditional spot in February and plonked it into the middle of a busy period of shows which included 3 WWE Network Specials in the space of 6 weeks. The upshot was this show which featured Kevin Owens' main roster debut, the first ever tag team Elimination Chamber match, Seth Rollins defending the WWE Title against Dean Ambrose, and a battle for the vacant Intercontinental Title in another Chamber bout.
