Adal's sausage and peppers recipe:
Makes 8 to 10 large servings
15 hot sausages
5 sweet sausages
8 peppers sliced
5 onions sliced
4 oz minced garlic
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons black pepper
1 tablespoon salt
3/4 cup oregano
1/2 cup olive oil
4 - 7 tablespoons of crushed red pepper depending on your heat tolerance
Bake covered (I use one of those aluminum turkey pans from the store) at 350 for 2.5 to 3 hours. Stir every 30 minutes. Then continue to bake uncovered at 400 for last 15-20 minutes.
Serve with french bread to dip in the juices
