In this episode, Nick Tello sits down with Mark Tomlin, a Purple Heart recipient who is also a husband, father, entrepreneur, and audio production engineer. At the time of this conversation, Mark is employed at The Aztec Theater in downtown San Antonio, Texas, and also works as the touring sound engineer for metal bands Snake Father and Left IV Dead.

Mark shares how he became a Purple Heart, which is the oldest U.S military decoration, awarded to service members wounded or killed in combat by enemy action, terrorism, or friendly fire. During this episode, Mark also mentors how audio engineers can successfully transition into working for themselves in this field.
