God is King of Kings and worthy of our obedience, reverence, and respect. In Numbers 14, Israel deserved destruction, yet God showed mercy by pardoning and giving lesser discipline. This episode reminds us that even in His correction, He is merciful, and we must honor Him when He speaks.
