On this episode I chatted with fellow SNU Golf Alum and friend Gerod Black. Gerod came to Oklahoma to study at SNU like myself. He grew up in West Texas playing golf as a kid. Practiced hard and played for Midland Junior College. If you look at the history books Midland Junior College is one of the best! As Gerod explains, walking around country clubs in the area wearing the colleges logo definitely helped your appearance.
Since graduating from SNU Gerod and his wife Callie stayed in OKC and started a family. Gerod is in his second year of a new insurance business. partnering with fellow golfer and OSU superstar Brandon Weeden.
