Description

Jolene Rader although originally from Belize, Jolene has lived and worked in multiple countries and describes herself as a lover of all things “international.” She earned her undergraduate degree in Communications, with a concentration in Print Journalism, at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York in 2006 and interned at the Caribbean School of Media and Communication in Kingston, Jamaica shortly after. In 2009, Jolene completed a Master of Arts in Communication studies at the University of Westminster in London, England (UK), where she later lived for several years working as a diplomat for her country in representing Belize’s interests abroad. In life after public sector work, Jolene now works with a local non-profit in Virginia, USA that carries out humanitarian projects regarding clean water, medical aid, hunger and disaster relief all over the world. Jolene, a pastor’s wife and children’s book author, currently lives in Chesapeake, Virginia with her husband and two young children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, playing the piano and guitar, and watching “The Amazing Race.”
