What Is a Disciple?
Discipleship is more than a label or a moment of salvation—it’s a lifelong commitment to learning and following Jesus. Rooted in both Scripture and ancient practice, a disciple is a learner who follows a master’s teaching and way of life. Jesus’ Great Commission calls believers to actively make disciples by going, baptizing, teaching, and mentoring others. Every Christian is invited to grow in Christ and help others do the same.
