Winter, 1988 — Minneapolis–St. Paul.
Keith (Becca), Louis (Joaquim), and Dennis (Slovak) meet for a tense breakfast summit and head to a newly built luxury tower to begin the search for a missing ghoul. Behind the polished lobby and curated success, they find stress fractures in a high-flyer’s life—financial obligations, a not-quite-HR inquiry, and a private cache that suggests image and truth don’t match. What begins as a simple welfare check turns into a discreet cleanup job with reputations, careers, and very personal loyalties on the line.

Ghouls: Fatal Addiction – Servitude is a Vampire: The Masquerade chronicle set in the world of Twin Cities by Night.
Rather than following the Kindred themselves, this story turns its focus toward the humans who serve them—the lovers, enforcers, and protégés whose devotion blurs the line between affection and addiction.
Set against the backdrop of the late 1980s, Servitude explores themes of control, ambition, and the slow decay of autonomy beneath the cold glamour of unlife.
This chronicle can be experienced as a standalone story, but fans of Twin Cities by Night will recognize familiar names, locations, and the lingering shadow of the city’s undead elite.
