Welcome to the first 'official' episode of our new season (that last episode doesn't count). For the next few months we'll be discussing films by directors who only made one feature narrative film. To kick us off this week is Maximum Overdrive, from author Stephen King, and co-directed by a metric ton of cocaine.
To help me dissect this film, and maybe go off on a few tangents, is my old pal Johnny Duarte. Together we try not to get lost in the weeds and try to discover why Stephen King never directed another film.
