Dorian Harewood has appeared in over 100 film and television productions. He’s known for roles in The Jesse Owens Story, 7th Heaven, Roots: The Next Generations, and Full Metal Jacket.
Harewood has recorded two solo albums: “Love Will Stop Calling” (1988) and “Have A Little” (2001). He’s toured with The Four Tops and Gladys Knight.
His Broadway return in The Notebook earned him a 2024 Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for his portrayal of Older Noah.
Dorian Harewood, accompanied by Grammy Award-winning musical director, arranger, composer, and conductor Randy Waldman, will pay tribute to the legendary Nat King Cole this Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at Herb Albert’s Vibrato Grill & Jazz in Bel Air.
