How often do we as Christians look to worldly and pragmatic solutions to the issues we face in life? The Israelites demanded that God give them a king like the other nations, thinking he would solve all their problems. God gave them exactly what they asked for, but it was a judgment on their unwillingness to submit to him. Are we willing to face the price of trusting the world over God?
