Description

Rev. Dr. EJ Buckardt continues Deception / Discernment — Part 2. Satan’s aim is to get people — and even pastors — to disobey God, so the sin of disobedience separates them from Him. The church is called back to obedience, repentance, forgiveness, and restoration.

• Satan looks for ways to spread deception through people and pastors
• A wrong vision of the purpose of life is one of his strategies
• Sin is transgression of the law — disobedience of God’s commandments (1 John 3:4)
• We choose whom we serve: sin unto death, or obedience unto righteousness (Romans 6:16)
• Following Christ includes suffering, not a prosperity-only gospel
• The churches around the world need repentance (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Galatians 6:7 — “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Also in this message: Matthew 7:21–23, Galatians 2:20, Luke 9:23–24, Isaiah 50:2, 2 Timothy 4:3–4.
