The legendary songsmith Albert Hammond is heading to
South Africa to perform in Cape Town at the Artscape Operahouse on the 14th of
April and in Johannesburg at the Teatro Montecasino on the 16th of April.
Willim calls him in New York prior to his departure
to discuss his jam-packed world tour, the mystery behind his songwriting
success and his initial involvement with The Strokes’ debut album Is This It – for whom his son Albert Hammond Jnr. plays guitar.
