The Hidden Life: A Study in Colossians Week 3
When someone finds you in a desperate or vulnerable place, it matters what kind of person they are. In the third week of our study through Colossians we look at some of the most important words in the Bible about who Jesus is, what kind of savior he is, and why he deserves to be first in our lives (and in everything).
About this series: Our society places high value on visibility, but there is a hidden life the attention economy can't compete with. It's a life that doesn't just have less noise, but more peace. A life that doesn't just have less confusion, but more truth. A life that doesn't have self-imposed purpose, but an eternal one. There is a hidden life only Jesus can offer. Or in the apostle Paul's words a life "hidden with Christ in God." To receive and embrace this life is to experience a peace and power and purpose that can never be taken away. In this sermon series in the book of Colossians we will explore what it means to experience life in Christ.
