The Hidden Life: A Study in Colossians Week 9

What do submission in marriage, slaves working for earthly masters, and kids growing bitter have to do with a Christian household? In week 9 we dive headlong into the daily lives of ancient families to make sense of what God wants for our work and our relationships in today's world.

About this series: Our society places high value on visibility, but there is a hidden life the attention economy can't compete with. It's a life that doesn't just have less noise, but more peace. A life that doesn't just have less confusion, but more truth. A life that doesn't have self-imposed purpose, but an eternal one. There is a hidden life only Jesus can offer. Or in the apostle Paul's words a life "hidden with Christ in God." To receive and embrace this life is to experience a peace and power and purpose that can never be taken away. In this sermon series in the book of Colossians we will explore what it means to experience life in Christ.
