The Hidden Life: A Study in Colossians Week 10
Of all the things we can and should do with our lives, what is the point of prayer? In the last week of this series through Colossians we talk about what it means to be devoted to prayer and to pay holy attention to the world around us.
About this series: Our society places high value on visibility, but there is a hidden life the attention economy can't compete with. It's a life that doesn't just have less noise, but more peace. A life that doesn't just have less confusion, but more truth. A life that doesn't have self-imposed purpose, but an eternal one. There is a hidden life only Jesus can offer. Or in the apostle Paul's words a life "hidden with Christ in God." To receive and embrace this life is to experience a peace and power and purpose that can never be taken away. In this sermon series in the book of Colossians we will explore what it means to experience life in Christ.
