Description

You know how the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers morph into that one big guy? That’s Kristin, only instead of being made up of a bunch of smaller guys she’s made from a menagerie of disorders, and it’s time for another one to officially morph into the mix.

This episode Kristin gives an overview of what dyslexia is and explores her own relationship with this often-missed diagnosis. We get into why dyslexia happens in the brain, how it impacts reading and spelling, some helpful strategies and accommodations, and we work through the confusing feelings that come with the realization that you were never dumb, you were just struggling with an untreated learning disorder.

If you’re not convinced you know how to read, you just memorized a lot of words, come join us for an eye-opening look into dyslexia that just may revolutionize everything you know about yourself along the way.
