• longed for hope, ached for hope, 
• tried to talk myself into hoping again.
• worked to manufacture my own hope. 
• I ignored hope, was afraid to hope.  

And yet somehow- hope has been close,  a companion in my story.

Here’s what we dive into today: 

• My own seven year wilderness season and how hope has been both a companion and a challenge.

• Is it hope? Or, toxic positivity? Gulp!

• The honest truth- that we like a hope rooted in probabilities….and have often choked out a hope filled with possibilities.

• I share one of my favorite Bible stories about a father who hopes against all odds-  listen friend, I love this one so much, I tattooed it on my body!
