Elvis Presley was 24 years old, already the world's biggest rock-and-roll star, and serving in the U.S. Army in Germany. Priscilla Beaulieu was 14 when she attended a gathering at Elvis's home. The two began spending time together while Elvis remained stationed in Germany, beginning a relationship that continued after his return to the United States.
Elvis and Priscilla eventually married in Las Vegas in 1967 and welcomed daughter Lisa Marie the following year. Although their marriage ended in divorce, Priscilla would later play an important role in preserving Elvis's legacy and transforming Graceland into one of America's most famous historic homes.
