Guy Hornsby, Executive Director of the Riverside Studios in Hammersmith and one of the programmers of ‘Deep Desires and Broken Dreams’ shares his enthusiasm with us about this week-long gay film season. He tells us how tricky it can be to find an actual copy of the film, once it is decided to include the film in the programme. He also reminds us why gay film festivals are important as ever. The festival runs from 21st to 27th February and includes films such as “Keep The Lights On” and “Laurence Anyways”, which we have featured on the show.

Artist Simon Croft discusses his work that is shown at ‘Loudest Whispers’, the annual Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender Exhibition. As Simon is a trans-man, his art focuses on change and transition. The exhibition runs until 28th March 2013 at the Conference Centre at St Pancras Hospital.
