There is a point where God turns loose of a rebellious soul and leaves him to his lusts. This is the last thing that can be done when all else has failed to bring them to repentance. There came a day when the prodigal's father released his son and even gave him his portion of the goods. But the boy still had a father he could return to and that is what he did after his sin had brought him low. God would have all men to be saved. Never think that his giving someone up to uncleanness is God giving up on their soul.
