Luke's primary lesson: Gentiles are now part of the club. His secondary lesson is just as obvious, and in one sense a lot more important because we have not yet thoroughly learned it. That lesson: A healthy church is addicted to visiting and eating together. Yes, that's right. A church that doesn't practice hospitality is a church where the conversion and addition of the Gentiles doesn't really mean anything. That's why Peter introduces himself as one who ate with Jesus (10:41)!
