Growing up can be hard, especially when you begin at middle age. How can such tension be avoided? It can't, we must all move from immaturity to maturity through the same gauntlet of pain, trial, and even suffering. Gaining wisdom brings a kind of age that we call maturity, and only wisdom can do it. Wisdom being that blessed gift of knowing, thinking, and applying God's Word and combined with an understanding and comprehension of the limits of our own creatureliness.
