We rightly confess that the Lord is One who made all things, and all of them very good. It was man who brought corruption, sin, and misery upon the earth. One of the effects of man's rebellion was that he calls what is good, evil and that which is evil, good. What obstinance and rebellion for those whose lives are but a breath, to try to rename that which God has named, ordered, and set forth as good and true.
