Old Testament Salvation is important due to its relationship with the mechanics of New Testament salvation. The ptocess of escaping eternal condemnation, was established in the Old testament and carried over into the New Testament. Notice, I did not say anything about the body of Christ, I said nothing about going to heaven - I specifically said "escape condemnation." This has always been available to man from God as a free gift; imputed to anyone who will believe what God said to him or her.
