Once the lamb was selected, then the lamb was scrutinized, and finally the lamb was slain. And it had to be slain at a very special time. And so it was with God's lamb, the Lord Jesus. He came, He was scrutinized, and then as He stood in the shadow of the cross He said, "Which of you convinces me of sin?" In other words, have I passed the test? Is there any sin in me? And did you know He was the perfect Lamb? Nobody else could ever ask a question like that, but Jesus could because He was the God-man, perfect.
