In our study in Genesis, we're studying God's revelation of himself through his names. God is teaching us in the life of Abram and Sarai, that all salvation comes from God. In Genesis 16 we learn that God is a God of compassion. He sees two women in their suffering, Sarai and Hagar, and he has compassion on them.
