Erinome: Hello everyone! Welcome to today's "Daily News Chat"! I'm Erinome, and sitting next to me is my co-host, Enceladus. How are you today, Enceladus?

Enceladus: Hi Erinome! I'm good, thanks! Ready to dive into the latest news? Let's start!

Erinome: Perfect! First up, weather news. Super Typhoon "Huajiasha" is coming! It's expected to land on Guangdong's coast on the 24th. Oh wow, they say its strength is similar to Typhoon "Mangkhut" in 2018. Guangdong has already issued a reminder: people need to prepare for major disaster defense.

Enceladus: Oh no, Mangkhut was really strong back then! Hope everyone in Guangdong stays safe and prepares well.

Erinome: Yeah, stay safe is the key. Next, food safety news. The State Council Food Safety Office says they will speed up making national standards for pre-made dishes. And they want to strongly promote clear labeling when restaurants use pre-made dishes. You know that? So people can know if their food is pre-made.

Enceladus: Oh right! That’s good. Sometimes we eat out and don’t know—now with clear labels, we can choose better.

Erinome: Exactly! Moving to medical insurance news. The National Healthcare Security Administration released rules for the 11th batch of national organized drug bulk purchases. The principles are "stable clinical use, ensuring quality, preventing bid-rigging, anti-involution". And they won’t just choose the lowest price anymore.

Enceladus: Oh, that makes sense! Focusing on quality, not just cheap prices. Good for patients, right?

Erinome: For sure! Now, courier news. Many courier companies will raise the receiving prices in Shanghai starting tomorrow. But don’t worry—this is mainly for low-price e-commerce packages. Personal mail will be affected a little.

Enceladus: Haha, so my personal packages won’t get more expensive? That’s a relief!

Erinome: Probably not! Next, city rankings. The 2025 Top 50 Talent-Friendly Cities in China are out! Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou… these big cities are all on the list.

Enceladus: Wow, those cities are always popular for jobs. No surprise they’re talent-friendly!

Erinome: Right. Now, a story about environment. Arc'teryx and artist Cai Guoqiang did a Himalayan fireworks show, but it’s causing environmental concerns. Botanists say: once the ecology there is damaged, it may take decades or even a century to recover.

Enceladus: Oh, that’s sad. The Himalayas are so beautiful—hope they can protect the ecology.

Erinome: Me too. On a better note: the national medical insurance catalog has included nearly 100 rare disease drugs, covering 42 types of diseases. That’s great for patients with rare diseases!

Enceladus: Wow, that’s really good news! They can get the drugs they need now, maybe at lower costs.

Erinome: Exactly! Now, expo news from Nanning, Guangxi. The 22nd China-ASEAN Expo and Summit just closed there. It attracted 3,260 enterprises from 60 countries! They signed over 500 economic and trade projects, with more than 700 total achievements.

Enceladus: That’s a big success! So many countries and projects—good for business.

Erinome: For sure! Now, business news about "Stock God" Buffett. Reports say he has sold all his BYD shares. His 17-year investment return rate? A huge 3890%!

Enceladus: Oh my! 3890%? That’s amazing! He really is the Stock God.

Erinome: Right? Unbelievable. Speaking of BYD, their Yangwang U9 Xtreme just made news. It tested on Germany’s Nürburgring, called "the world’s hardest track". It reached 496.22 km/h—becoming the fastest production car!

Enceladus: Wow! That’s so fast! Like a rocket on wheels!

Erinome: Haha, almost! Now, international news. US media: A shooting happened in Indiana, US. 2 people died, 5 injured. So sad. And California passed a bill: most law enforcement can’t wear masks during operations.

Enceladus: Oh no, shootings again… Hope the injured get better soon. And the mask rule—interesting, maybe for transparency?

Erinome: Maybe. Next, Philippines news. After Marcos’ cousin resigned, there were protests there. The military declared a "red alert" status.

Enceladus: Red alert? That sounds serious. Hope things calm down.

Erinome: Me too. Now, Netherlands: There were anti-immigration protests. Police clashed with demonstrators, and 30 people were arrested.

Enceladus: Clashes? That’s not good. Hope everyone stays safe.

Erinome: Sad. Next, Yemen news: Foreign media say Israel airstruck a Yemeni newspaper office. 31 journalists died. It’s the deadliest attack on media in 16 years.

Enceladus: Oh no, that’s terrible! Journalists are just doing their jobs… So sad.

Erinome: Really heartbreaking. Finally, Palestine news: Australia, Canada, UK officially recognized Palestine as a state. The Palestinian side called it a victory for their people’s rights and just cause. But Israeli officials threatened to "establish sovereignty" in the West Bank.

Enceladus: Hmm, mixed feelings. Recognition is good, but threats might cause more tension
