Erinome: Hello everyone! Welcome to our daily news roundup. I'm Erinome, and sitting next to me is Enceladus. Let's see what interesting and important news we have today!

Enceladus: Hi everyone! Let's start with the first story. China Railway Group has some good news—they said in the first 10 months of this year, national railways sent 3.378 billion tons of goods. That's a new record for the same period in history!

Erinome: Wow, that's a huge number! So more goods are being transported by train than before. That must help with logistics, right?

Enceladus: Yeah, probably! Next, two departments in China plan to encourage big online platforms. They want the platforms to develop new technology, products and services for protecting personal information.

Erinome: Oh right, personal information protection is really important these days. Good they're pushing for innovation here.

Enceladus: Moving on to education news. A university in Jiangsu province spent nearly 300 million yuan buying commercial buildings. Why? To use them as student dormitories! They need to solve the problem of not having enough dorm rooms on campus.

Erinome: 300 million yuan? That's a lot of money, but if it helps students have a place to live, then it's worth it, I guess.

Enceladus: Next, a sad story from Guizhou. A woman in Liupanshui said she raises 8 children, and they all live in a small room—only a few square meters. People questioned if it was true, but the local women's federation responded: the situation is real, and they will provide help.

Erinome: Sad to hear they live in such a small space with so many kids. But good the federation is stepping in to help. Hope things get better for them.

Enceladus: Let's switch to movie news! "Nezha 2" won't compete for the 2026 Oscar Best Animated Feature, but "The Legend of Luo Xiaohei 2" is selected.

Erinome: Oh! I watched the first "Luo Xiaohei"—it was cute! Maybe "Nezha 2" has other plans, like focusing on Chinese audiences first, haha.

Enceladus: Maybe! Now, tech news: Apple will launch many cheap products in 2026. One of them is the iPhone17e. It will have a 60Hz low refresh rate screen and a 48-megapixel single camera at the back.

Erinome: 60Hz screen? Some people might not mind if the phone is cheaper, right? Not everyone needs a super high refresh rate, haha.

Enceladus: True! Next, a bad case exposed by CCTV: a big insurance fraud gang. They used luxury cars to碰瓷—meaning they would crash into trucks or SUVs on purpose, then cheat over 100 million yuan in insurance.

Erinome: Oh no! That's so dishonest. Cheating insurance like that must get them into big trouble.

Enceladus: For sure. Now, about chips: the US is considering letting NVIDIA sell H200 chips to China. NVIDIA's CEO, Huang Renxun, has said many times that the Chinese market is very important.

Erinome: Yeah, big companies need different markets to grow. China is a big market, so makes sense he强调 that.

Enceladus: Moving to international news. Foreign media reported that India's "Tejas" fighter jet crashed, and the pilot died. Pakistan's Defense Minister reposted the news and expressed condolences.

Erinome: Sad to hear about the pilot. It's good to see condolences even between countries, you know?

Enceladus: Definitely. And a very worrying story from Nigeria: over 200 teachers and students in a school were kidnapped by unknown armed men. The president canceled his trip, and 47 schools have closed recently because of this.

Erinome: Oh no! That's terrible. Hope the students and teachers are safe and can come back soon.

Enceladus: Me too. Okay, that's all the news for today. Thanks for joining us!

Erinome: Yeah, see you next time! Bye!
