The long-awaited sequel to the 2006 classic comedy-drama film, The Devil Wears Prada, is finally arriving in theaters on May 1, 2026, but this time, Miranda Priestly is not untouchable.
As reported by Variety, Meryl Streep will be returning as the ice-cold editor-in-chief of Runway magazine. However, she must now face the waning power of traditional magazines in the face of changing times. In order to save Runway, she must face off against her former assistant Emily (Emily Blunt), who has now risen in the ranks to become an executive for a luxury group.
Besides Streep and Blunt, Anne Hathaway is also set to return as long-suffering assistant Andy Sachs. Stanley Tucci will also be coming back as Miranda's underappreciated right-hand man, Nigel.
