Description

In the 1950s, Janis Joplin grew up as a outcast in the small, conservative town of Port Author, Texas. Leaving her home town behind, Janis would go on to become a Rock and Roll Icon by the age of 25.  By the time Janis was 27, she was dead of a heroin overdose.
