Why would a God thats so simplistic and whole create a way to follow him thats so complicated? Even the Bible says that the road is not easy, it probably wasn't meant to be but dang, it doesn't have to be so tough. An answer that might suffice is the idea that the things that are worth more in life usually cost something. Maybe God wants us to sacrifice what we have to gain Heaven.
