Description

Forty years ago, Peru’s Department of Agriculture tallied maca cultivation at only 70 acres. By the early ‘90s, maca was on the endangered plants list. This year, Peruvian farmers have revived and saved this herb only to face invasion by biopirates. Today, we’re talking about maca and the integrity herbalists must bring to indigenous crops.
