The movie has an excellent balance between the typicality of a romance film and the reality of relationships and a great side dish of socio political commentary centered towards the media. If you haven't seen it, I strongly recommend it. There's a reason it's a Criterion Film. In my opinion, it's the writing and the magnificent performances that bring it to life. Enjoy the Episode!
