Description

Tulsi Gabbard is no more a household name than was Shirley Chisolm 48 years ago. But they are both women, of colour, who went against the odds to win the Democratic Leaderhsip race in the US. Ms. Gabbard hangs on the brink of dropping out of this year's race, but refuses to let go. Her resolve should be a powerful message to us all, as we celebrate International Women's Day today.
