Winding up the NACCE conference in Newport Beach, which I've attended this week, I had dinner with a colleague from Santa Monica College. He was giddy about the takeaways from my session (I spoke about - you got it flash briefings). But in listening to him and his teaching style, I felt like I needed to take a page from him, and just be a little more patient.
