I’ve invited my good friend and fellow musician Ralph Schmidt (Ultha, Ropes of Night) on to discuss the sublime metal subgenre known as Funeral Doom. In all honesty, I’m a dilettante when it comes to Funeral Doom but I want to celebrate this style of heavy music.
