Time and again I am blown away by synchronistic moments. For example, someone pops into my thoughts and the next thing I know, the phone is ringing and it is them. A desire for a new book to read crosses my heart and a good friend recommends her latest hot find.

Just like instruments, it’s important to get a tune-up. It’s easy to get off-key. A little extra humidity, a snarky coworker, a belligerent child can easily knock us out of tune.

The trick is not to stay that way. It will only attract more of the same.

• Angels - Call on your Guardian Angels (friends in high places) for extra help. Like the Beatles so aptly said, “I get by with a little help from my friends.” The first step is to reach out to your Angelic friends. When you realize you don’t have to figure it out all on your own, anxiety starts to melt. Angels have a way of creating synchronistic moments that enable you to have plenty of time to get to the next meeting. They bring the right person across your path. And they even can inspire a partner to pick up dinner so that you don’t stress about what to eat that night.

• Anchors - Like a lighthouse, an anchor holds you firm and supports you during stressful stormy times. Stress hits when there is a separation between us and the light - love or universal energy. What would serve as a reminder and help you reestablish a strong connection to the sacred?

• Attitude - Watch the feelings behind the thoughts. Notice how resentment hides behind unrealistic expectations. Or how fear can parade around as procrastination. Create a safe space to say hello to that feeling and offer yourself grace.
