😞 Melancholy, Sadness, Ennui . . .
When was the last time any of these phrases popped up . . .
🙂 “I’m fine.”
👍 “It’s all good.”
🤷♀️ “It is what it is.”
😢 I feel sad today.
One minute I’m happy but then something will come across my awareness and I feel like I’m being drawn into the swamp of sadness.
What gives . . .
If the default phrases above keep showing up, make sure that big feelings aren’t being ignored or stuffed down. Because they’ll find a way to show up eventually and it’s not always pretty - hello, pain in the butt, knotted shoulders, and fatigue that drains motivation.
Here’s what I’m doing and the recipe that I’ve been sharing with my clients to help them process those feelings and transmute them into peace.
