In this episode we sat down with my friend Randy who gave us his perspective as a health care professional working at an inpatient substance abuse treatment facility. He talks about some of the treatment that is completed during their admission into the center as well as what is needed for follow up after. We also had a in depth conversation about what its like for him being a new dad and ways in which he is concerned for his son’s future. He gave his honest opinion about the recovery process for someone dealing with substance abuse and mental illness issues.
