Have you seen or heard someone say they have mild Celiac? While there is no such thing - there is no severity scale - they're typically referring to the severity of symptoms. And it's usually accompanied by taking risks with cross contact. It causes a lot of confusion within and outside of the community. The damage done by exposure to gluten is the same, no matter what the outward - or perceived - symptoms may be.
