This time of year there are lots of opportunities for businesses to contribute to local and national charities with, sponsorships, silent auction donations and contributions of time as well by allowing your employees to help out with community festivals or events. Think about taking part this year and have a small committee find an event happening that aligns with your company in some way. Allow your employees to help in groups to organize these events – usually the non-profits need help in so many ways.
So you can sponsor a run/walk charity event that puts your brand name on tshirts and posters so you get local exposure and maybe even mention on a broadcast radio and certainly social media. Like follow and engage with their page to show your support and enthusiasm.
Have a press release telling everyone about your commitment to this event and encourage everyone else to participate.
And don’t forget your local high schools looking for prom donations to help keep the students busy with after prom parties. They’d love donations of products to use for prizes and such.
Support a charity and grow your good will in the community.
